Mom
There is my only daughter standing up there,
She’s next to her father, the bridal pair.
These are the words that she wants me to say,
On this my ex-husband’s second wedding day.


Daughter
My mom is sitting there towards the back,
With her long time boy friend Jack.
We all invited Mother plus one,
To show any hard feelings were done.

Mom
That’s her father she’s proudly standing next to.
